Caraccioli Food Company is an independent exporting company, based in Honduras with an office in Dallas, Texas, United States.
We specialize in marketing Honduran products, with our main export being Arabica coffee. Our coffee stands out due to our temperate and tropical climate, cultivated between 3,600 and 5,200 feet above sea level, resulting in an aromatic and fragrant brew with notes of vanilla or hazelnut, and a balanced acidity. The mountainous terrain, forests, and tall vegetation cover the coffee crops, providing shade to the beans, allowing for longer maturation, enhanced nutrient absorption, and mineral development, thus achieving a robust flavor.
The aforementioned, positions Honduras as the 5th largest producer of Arabica coffee globally, 3rd in Latin America, and 1st in Central America. This has enabled Caraccioli Food Company to market its Maya Dark Roast blend to one of the most recognized companies in the United States, such as Sunoco LP with its APlus convenience stores, thereby meeting the highest standards in product quality and packaging, while adapting to all our client’s needs.
Leading brands in Honduras
Caraccioli Food Company represents leading brands in the market such as Café Maya, with a tradition of over 85 years in coffee processing, and GoTropic, with carbonated beverages made from coffee and fruits.
Geographical Advantage

Our Origin
Our family fell in love with the state of Texas when our grandfather, Aviation Colonel Hector Caraccioli was sent to pursue his aviation career at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas in 1955 and during his free time he wrote letters to his wife Luchy about his progress in his studies and the beauties of Texas. After completing his studies, he returned to his country to be appointed Chief of the Armed Forces and later President of the Republic with the Military Government Board in 1956. Years later, his daughter Luchy married an American, settling in Dallas, Texas in 1978. Subsequently, our family and new generations grew up in Texas.
Our Creation
Caraccioli Food Company was founded in 2017 by Héctor Soto Caraccioli, based on his experience leading companies in the coffee and carbonated beverage market. Inspired and motivated by his two daughters, the eldest studied at Texas A&M University, and during her study sessions, her classmates enjoyed Honduran coffee so much that they requested more bags for consumption. Later, his youngest daughter studying at UNT, proposed to market it in Texas and the rest of the United States. Both suggested that Honduras has a privileged climate, temperate and tropical, which allows for the production of high-quality products to offer them in the American market. It initiated with the representation of leading brands in the coffee market such as Café Maya, with a tradition of over 85 years in the coffee market.
